![]() Actually I'm not sure if these settings affect new node placement, but I think the click/drag one does. There you can change the click/drag sensitivity, and grab sensitivity. Assuming this is your problem, you could also check Inkscape Preferences > Mouse. Then I select the segment where I want to add new nodes, then double-click to create the new node.Įven with these precautions, it can still be hard to add a new node at a precise intersection. The more I zoom, the closer to the intersection I can place the new nodes. When you say you clicked "Delete segment" was that "Delete segment between 2 non-endpoint nodes" button? When you place the mouse/pointer over the segment you want to remove, and click once, do the 2 nodes between which you want to remove the segment, become highlighted?įrom the "after" screenshot, it looks like when you added the new nodes, some of them might have been added to the blue paths instead.
