![]() The editor offers a few tools to edit the screenshot before it can be saved or emailed. Once the screenshot has been taken it is loaded in the Snipping Tool editor. The Snipping Tool supports free handed screen captures, window captures and full screen captures. Try out different effects to see the result. Then get to the command Images>Effects (or press Ctrl+E). Just open the image with IrfanView, and use the mouse to draw the area to be blurred. You don't need to install the IrfanPaint plugin to IrfanView, if all you want to do is blur out rectangle shaped areas of an image. If it’s not as blurry as you’d like, you can adjust it manually. Your image in its entirety is now blurred. In the drop-down menu that appears, click the Blur option. ![]() Next, select “Artistic Effects” from the “Adjust” group. Select the image, and that automatically opens the “Picture Format” tab.
